With a concealed hammer you can fire from a coat pocket without fear of getting clothing caught in the action. Would probably work fine with an exposed hammer with the spur removed. Then if something is suspicious you can already have your gun in hand without anyone being the wiser.
mostly for a truck gun Ruger Blackhawk 45 colt for snakes a Heritage 22lr revolver and on my person Charter Arms 38 revolver and sometimes a Colt 1911 45 auto
I like not being “dependent” on an external device (i.e., a magazine) for reloads. I can carry speedloaders, but I don’t have to. I can go with speed-strips or rounds in a 2x2x2 pouch, etc. You get some good (to me) options with a revolver. As with anything, practice is key, whether it’s live-fire or dry-fire with snap-caps.
Make no mistake, I still enjoy semi-autos as well. I’ve been working with revolvers almost exclusively for several months now and have really come to prefer them, personally.
