Have a 6.5 grendal I picked up a week ago, don't know much about them, any input on best utilized for would be appreciated!

Great target ormedium game round. I have several , bolt and semi auto. All are accurate , have minimal recoil and have effective terminal ballistics with the right bullets.

I also have a Grendel. Love it. Sometimes ammo is hard to find . I buy in bulk.

What platform is your Grendel? It is a very efficient cartridge designed for AR platforms.

My Alexander Arms A shoots better than I can. Be careful when selecting hunting ammo. There are lots of match/target bullets that will not perform well on deer.

I built it on a ar-15 platform. 18'' barrel . Shoots better than me. The barrel is made by now defunk company Hardened Arms. Great rifle.
