Semi-old news at this stage of a news-story-a-second, but read earlier this evening that GoDaddy pulled the plug on their server. They are back at the moment via a “backup” server.

Sad sad news, good thing they had a backup and my host is a smaller one so I would prob get a heads up first. Facebook is also deleting groups related to firearm discussions now.

I’m definitely on the lookout for that on FB; I’m a moderator of a (very) small group there and have been wondering if / when they might come calling.

I am going to guess its only a matter of time before all gun sites and people that post on gun sites are under the magnifying glass and then erased.

Hope this site is on a 2A friendly web host, if not beat them to it and move ASAP

I’ll check with my web host but they own their own equipment and I have been with them for years but good idea to ask.

GoDaddy was their DNS host, not their web host. That probably made service exceptionally easy to restore, assuming they still had control of domain registration.

GoDaddy has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen, so probably a net positive in the long run.
