Hard to find info of these but from what I can find on the forums it s probably late 70's early 80's production. It says Rossi made by Taurus but has no import markings. I believe this was an NOS gun when I got because it still had the factory grease inside and still had some of the plastic wrap stuck to the receiver and it didn't look like it had ever been fired but I don't know that for certain. It is a 20" barrel with buckhorn sights and it does NOT have the safety on the top of the action. Even searching the Rossi forums I have not found another brass one so I don't think they were a very common option. It feeds everything from light 38's up to full house magnums with no problems.
