A shout-out here for a Birmingham-era eatery called The Ridge Eat & Drink in the Rocky Ridge "business district" of Vestavia Hills.
Home to what I'd respectfully submit is THE best burger in town, The Ridge (and sister establishment Mudtown in Cahaba Heights) is owned by local "gun-guy" and match competitor Dave Horn. The place is adorned with lots of cool paraphernalia, plenty of it firearms-related, and you're greeted at the doors by signs WELCOMING lawful concealed-carry. The pic shown with this post is unfortunately blurry but is an example of what I'm talking about.
