Getting delayed on buying a gun

First time I've got delayed for buying a gun, I went to buy a glock 26 and got delayed till Monday, not to happy about that

That is frustrating! I was delayed the first time I purchased under the instant-background check, but it was a matter of an hour or two as I recall.

It is a PITA, I got delayed in TN a couple of times because they have their own system TICS. It had a flag because somebody else had the same name hadn't paid old parking tickets.

Once you get the proceed happy shooting.

I have a very common name and I have gotten delayed every time. Longest has been about 30 minutes though.

I've never been delayed, but i always "voluntarily" put my social on the 4473.I'd rather not, but it makes it go faster.
they get your driver's license, which is linked to your social, so i figure if someone really wants to find it, it's already there. not to mention that my "stamp collecting" already had me in databases that would be checked first =/
