I’m Alan Yates from Huntsville. My wife and I are from the south. We married in Huntsville 20 years ago and moved to New Hampshire. We both retired from there...I in 2009 and my wife in 2011, and we moved to Huntsville in 2012. We enjoy shooting and have a few carry guns. We both have concealed carry permits. For several years in NH I built and sold competition Glocks but I had a stroke in 2009 and stopped working on guns except for our personal guns.
Myself and several friends began a Facebook gun group, ‘Guns and Shared Gun Knowledge’ a while back. Facebook has become so psychotic that we only discuss guns. No sales of guns or parts. We are fortunate to have some professional gunsmiths and technicians and gun writers who cheerfully share information with us.
I retired from the New Hampshire Department of Safety as a supervisor 1 in the Emergency Services Division.
