You made a thread when you clicked new post. post/thread is kinda interchangable.

reply is when you reply to a post like you did now.

New Post or Replies to others count toward your 10 post count, The 10 post cound was introduced to stop the spammers from posting fake ads.

yep. its just them trying to keep site safe. pretty good practice honestly. anyone else reading this, gunrunner is a long time friend of mine, hes just trying to get access to the classified section.
