That's sucks, Fiocchi is usually pretty good for the cheap stuff. Glad you didn't get hurt.

Yes I like Fiocchi a lot honestly, I had a couple experienced reloaders say it looked like weak brass? They also said unusual for Fiocchi is normally really good.

Fiocchi .223 bulk pack i bought a few years ago had a few of these in it. I've had umc 9mm from a bulk pack with split casings. I try to look at all of my ammo now.
