For those of you who don't know,, these pistols were introduced 28 years ago along with the Glock 26 and 27. But due to import laws in the Gun Control Act of 1968, Killer Ted Kennedy's legacy, being in.380 it was not importable as it didn't have a "sporting purpose". TALO distributors got Glock USA to make a limited run at their Georgia plant.

This thing is too much fun! Already burned up all the .380 I had laying around.

I plan on getting the 25 (19 in .380) next month when they are released.

I put a lighter connector, clipdraw, smooth trigger on it already.

I have realized that this gun deserves a nickname.

Being that its already a relic, overpriced, not as effective as some other offerings that are much cheaper and that I already have far too much money into it already...it reminds me of an F35.

To that end, I've dubbed it "Fat Amy". Fat Amy is a pejorative nickname for the F35.

The list of upgrades (so far) rated on a usefulness scale of 1 to 5. Plus an installation difficulty scale of 1 to 5.

Pearce Grip +2s.
U-5 I-5+
The results are awesome. 2 more rounds and an identical checkering finger rest. What a miserable mofo to adapt the subplate and get it to pop in its proper position. I was pretty frustrated but the gun still works great and my pinky has a place to go.

Recover Tactical bolt on rail.
U-4 I-1
Only one of my lights fit properly. Olight mini. But I love a light mount. Super easy peasy to install and solid.

Ghost extended "bullet" slide stop.
U-5 I-2
An easy to install essential for any Glock

Ghost "lowpro" oversized mag release. The current mag release is miserable. Installing a longer G21 type doesn't work well with close body carry. Hasn't arrived yet. Will report back.

NDZ 3lb connector.
U-5 I-2
Not easy for newbies but IMO an essential upgrade.

Glock smooth trigger.
U-4 I-4
G 26 size guns, 26/27/28 like 19s and 23s come with a ribbed trigger, which i despise. Been shooting Glocks since 1989. So I have preferences. Not fun to install but not awful.

Clipdraw
U-5 I-3
I don't like holsters. Been using the clipdraw for years. Fairly easy to install. Not a great method of carry for guns that rust easily.

I'm not a fan of larger .380's. I got a G26 and keep it loaded with 100 Grain Hornady Lite rounds. You can load a 9mm down to act like a .380 ballistically but not vice-versa! Now, I do have smaller hands but think that the shorter .380 round deserves a smaller gun to go around it.

Yep. All valid. Don't care. Still love it. Gonna get the 25 too.

Fat Amy evolves further.

Pulled the Recover rail. Too snaggy from the draw.

Installed a Swampfox Sentinel mini red dot on a rear dovetail mount. It was dead nuts on at 10yds

Found a spare Siderlock safety trigger in my boxes o stuff and installed it.

Ran 5 mags at my steel silhouettes to ensure function.

If you do decide to throw a light on it, the TLR-6 Glock 26 model should work fine. That's what I run on my 26. Not the best pistol light out there, but one of the only lights that doesn't require a rail.

If I could find one that wasn't snaggy, I might try it.

The TLR-6 is one pf the least snaggy lights out there in my experience. Very streamlined, but doesn't have the same kind of switch as most other lights out there.
