I recently bought a new Taurus G3C for $280 at Larry's back in the fall. I've put about 500 rounds through it and it has worked well. It has fired every time. The only issues I had with it was the long trigger take up. The reset is pretty good, though. If you like a more traditional DA/SA over a striker fired pistol, Taurus also offers the TH9. I don't have any experience with it, though.

Taurus has a bad rap with some folks. I have a Taurus PT92SS that I bought new in 1992. It has been a great gun. I have no issues carrying the G3C.

Your going to have to look around. Hit the gun stores weekly. Dont be afraid to buy used. A used gun the gun shop makes more money on. Dont be afraid to ask for a discount on a used gun.

Thanks. I"ve started going to places asking questions and been learning what to keep my eye out for also the G3C has been recommended by a lot of people so far I'll probably by one soon, not familiar with Larry's.
