Not trying to break the bank. I found a Stag 10 Tactical RH QPQ in FDE for 1500. Don't really know anything about them. Have looked at the M&P10s also.

I'm currently building one for a nighttime hog gun. I got most of the parts on sale and am still looking for my trigger of choice (Geissele SSA-E) to go on sale. Here's the parts list:

Lower Receiver (stripped) - AERO M5
Lower parts kit - AERO M5 minus FCG
Grip - Magpul MOE
Buffer tube - AERO .308 rifle buffer kit
Stock - Magpul MOE fixed stock
Upper Receiver (complete) - Ballistic Advantage 18" .308
BCG - Toolcraft .308
Charging Handle - Radian Raptor AR-10
BUIS - Magpul MBUS Gen 2
Magpul MLOK QD Sling Mount
Muzzle Device - Surefire Warcomp 7.62 (gonna host a Surefire RC2 7.62 when it gets out of jail)

All in all so far I believe I'll have about 1,200 dollars into this build minus the scope and suppressor so I'd say building your own and looking for deals on parts is the way to go for an AR-10.

Alternatively PSA has a pretty good Gen 2 AR-10 with options for 18" and 20" barrels for .308 and 6.5 Creedmore that have been going on sale pretty regularly lately for between 800-900 dollars if you want to go the pre-built route.

Can't go wrong with an M and P10. Just not the sport version. Both of my Smith AR10s are 1 MOA rifles with descent ammo. Can get under an MOA with match ammo.
