Rainbow City, Al
Greetings. I'm Doyle and I'm in Rainbow City. Kind of part time for now until we get totally out of Starkville, MS. Wife is a professor over there with a couple of years left before she can retire so we are having to keep a house there until she either retires or can manage to move online (which may be happening fairly soon).

I retired last year after spending about 25 years in the corporate tax software industry. My education is in Accounting and Finance. We decided that Rainbow City would be a nice place to spend our rocking chair years so we bought a house on Lake Neely Henry. My wife is a professor at Mississippi State Univ in the College of Education. Prior to moving to Starkville in 2014, we spent over 20 years living in southwest Fl (Bradenton and Sarasota).

In a previous lifetime, I was a Naval Supply Officer and my wife spent about 27 years in the public school system as a teacher and Media Specialist (i.e. Librarian) before getting her PhD and moving to the university world. I hunt, fish, cook, and occasionally get to the range to shoot (but sadly, will have to give up membership in a fantastic gun club over in Starkville when we are totally moved). I'm a wanna-be woodworker and a self-taught handyman.

I'm looking forward to interacting with the wonderful people of Al.

Congrats on Retirement :)

Being off that lake sounds nice. We really need to get my wife to a place with fresher air. Been pondering what to do.
