Having an issue with my red dot screws coming loose. Does any one have suggestion on what type loctite to use.
Loctite Red if you will not be removing them, Blue if you will. Or, a dab of clear finger nail polish. Have used that many times on scope base, and ring, screws. It works just as good as Loctite.Having an issue with my red dot screws coming loose. Does any one have suggestion on what type loctite to use.
If cover the screw threads with it, it is tough to remove w/o a little heat. Use a small amount, and you can remove fairly easy.Clear Finger nail polish is a great idea, never thought of that. Does it break loose easy if your trying to remove.
Yep, Red is the stronger one. They also have one that they use on engine cylinder sleeves. I can't recall the name, but it requires a lot of heat to remove. LOLSweet, Ill try that next time.
I guess I thought red was easier to crack loose then Blue was, I hope he just uses a dab of either or it will likely be an issue trying to remove it later.
