looking for a rifle range that goes out to at least 1000 yards, any information would be appreciated, thanks.

There is Silver Creek Range in Mobile, Co. Have not been there yet so I don't have any personal experience.

There's one in or near Anniston. I can't remember the name of it. It has target cameras so you can see where you hit.

I was on this range while it was still privately owned. They had a tv system to see the target at 1000 Yards.

Dead Zero in TN has a nice one. CMP near Talladega is spectacular but only goes to 600.

Sounds like CMP but it only goes out to 600yds.

They actually have unknown distance range that goes out a little further than 600yds but I don't think that part of the range has the fancy monitor system.

Long range shooting is one vice I've managed to resist. I have two friends that are devotees and I shudder to think how much $$$ they have in rifles.

Rockford Gun Club got shut down a year or so ago. R&R Shooting Club in Geneva, AL supposedly had a 1000-yard range. I say supposedly because I tried going there last week, and it was shut down because they had to make sudden changes. Apparently a farmer was selling their land, which they were also using. So no idea what they'll end up being. Other than that, Silver Creek and Altus are the only ranges I think go that far, but they're members-only.
