Will aluminium cased ammo hurt my pistol?

Guys I just wanna make sure before I get it, I love shooting brass in any gun I shoot, but I've always heard this and that about steel ammo wearing out the extractor, well I like the price of aluminum ammo for practice, would aluminum ammo hurt my gun? It is a 9mm

I just put another box of Federal aluminum through my 1911; I'm hooked. The stuff shoots great!

Ive shot alum steel and brass through the gun you have Matt and it shot great anytime and everytime. That SD9 will eat any ammo I could find.

My rule is that if I have a gun that won't shoot steel or aluminum or anything, I get rid of it and get one that will.
