44 mag revolvers

Does anyone still make a snub nose 44 mag? I’ll likely go with a charter arms 44 special. But was just wondering

S&W, Ruger and Taurus all still make them. None are inexpensive.

Have you ever actually shot a snubnose .44 Mag? If not, I recommend you do so before you buy. My barrel is 5" and I definitely wouldn't want to shoot anything shorter.

I used to own a Ruger Alaskan in 44 mag. Fun to shoot, but it was a handful. Threw a good fireball. Not efficient powder burn with the short barrel.
