Having trouble finding Unique?
Did you know theres a replacement, virtually no one is talking about?
Of course you know me, i think its a conspiracy to keep us from making pews.
I tested the replacement just the other day. Works just like Unique, and i think it might even be cleaner.
Not quite as bulky as Unique, and you dont want to use lee dippers, fo4 obvious reasons.

Lots of folks shooting supressors now. Buying really high dollar cans to tackle the problem.
20 grains of powder makes a lot more gas than 5 grains.

WSF is an excellent substitute for Unique. I load of 147 subsonic loads with it. Meters well on the Dillon.

My project isnt pistol subs.
Im talking about fast pistol powders in rifles....
WSF is a ball powder. It is NOT a good replacement for Unique in the applications im talking about.
Unique is special for a very specific reason, along with several other bulky flake powders.
Ball powders are not safe in a low density load.
Yeah....im sure WSF is great with the 9mm 147gr sub, im sure its great, thats why i have 2 lbs of it. But it is NOT a replacement for Unique.
Replacement and substitute have very different connotations.
