I set up a NFA trust. (50% off at National Gun Trusts this week.) I'm am getting ready to purchase suppressors. How to I get prints? If as dealer has a kiosk, can I upload my trust documents for the Form 4 and just get the prints and photos there? There is also an ATF site to prepare the eForm4. I suppose I'll find out at a dealer but I am interested to learn from the experiences of the AGF brain trust.

I originally purchased their EFT service but was not comfortable giving my SSN over the phone. I know it's required for the cards/background check but I am paranoid about sharing with unknown persons..

Depends on where you are. If the dealer has one of those kiosks, you can do it right there. Otherwise, you may have to go to either the local police station or county jail. Just walk in with a print card and tell them you need prints for an NFA item and they should get you sorted out.

Last Friday I happened to be near Warrior so I stopped in at Thermal Hunting. They had a suppressor in stock that I was interested in. I decided to purchase it as an individual rather than use my trust because they said the eform 4 approval is much faster that way. The whole process, eform, eprints, photo, etc. took less than an hour. Two business days later, it was approved.

I don’t plan to loan my cans out. I’ll include them in my will. My heirs can fill out a form 5 for a tax exempt transfer. This is easy. The only negative is that supply is short because so many are being sold due to the short approval turnaround times.
