Mini 30.

I have had a few, including the newer models absolutely love them but never got one to shoot consistent.

Random flyers drive me nuts. I did all the upgrades recommended but never changed much.

I find myself wanting another but struggle to believe it would be any different.

What have y’all’s experience with them?

I have one. Same experience as you, but I still like it. The mini 14 carbines I have in 6.8 SPC are the only mini 14 rifles I own that are very accurate. The 300 BO isn't bad, and the two I have in 5.56 are about like the mini 30. I wish they were more accurate, but I prefer the platform more than my AR rifles.

I thought about trying a 300 blackout since they don’t like steel case ammo anyway

I never had much of an issue out of my .223, don’t have a lot of experience on the 30 platform though.

One issue is that the barrels are .308 and the Soviet round is .311. I guess you have tried the Accu-strut?
