Need rifle help

My brother and law has a 308 rifle that has been spray painted so it hard to tell what it is.
He said it’s a mossberg mvp but it had a collapsible stock and pistol grip like an ar platform it was still bolt action but I am looking for a similar setup.

any of you have any info on that?

So I did some digging based on your description and it's probably a Mossberg MVP LC

It does but doesn’t. The furniture looks similar but it wasn’t as boxy and he had a Walmart tri-pod and bushnell glass.

I have to find more info on his cause I don’t think the stock on his is factory.

Ah, he could be using some other kind of chassis then. Those have become popular recently over a traditional stock for bolt guns

But your right everything I’m seeing is 900-1200 for the gun he has. I think he got a deal on it cause he said he didn’t pay much for it.

Possibly the MVP FLEX, factory option had AR stock/Grip configuration, have seen them in the $650.00 - $700 range when things were sane...
