Scopeswitch?

Just saw this new scopeswitch, does anyone have any experience with one? Is it just gimmick?

I’ve seen them brought up several times on various sites. I have not seen one in real life yet. It’s not clear to me how difficult they may be to install. I also don’t know the cost.

The starting price is $599.99 (scope obviously not included) and the website says installation is not easy and may require a gunsmith. I'd like to hear a point of reference for that statement, is it easier or harder than putting together a ar lower.

I kind of want to try one. Keep us updated if anyone gets their hands on one. It might just keep the handguard on straight for my spear lt if its clamped to the reciever and handgaurd.
