Shipping pistols

How much does it normally cost to top ship a pistol out of state through ffl? Transfer fee and shipping. Thinking of listing a few things on gun broker.

I've seen transfer fees ranging from $25 to more $75. Just depends on your FFL. Shipping through FedEx or UPS is outrageous. If your FFL is doing the shipping, they can use Parcel Post which is more reasonable.

Transfer fee usually $25-75 depending on local FFL, shipping fees aren't usually horrible but depend on where it's coming from and insured value

I tried to ship a pistol about a year ago and 3 different local gun shops said they would do it for $100. That of course ended the potential deal. That was just shipping.

USPS is FFL to FFL only and a 1508 form must be attached to the parcel to be filed with the origin PO.

There are many saver options for UPS and FedEx Ground. Some FFLs won't accept shipments from a non FFL.

25-35 bucks, PLUS the postage and insurance is a reasonable fee to simply log in your gun, look at your DL and then box it up and take it to the PO.
