If you had the dough and could build the ultimate hunting rifle based purely on factory rifle parts what would you choose
Stock- Browning x-bolt in Bottomland
Trigger-Savage Accu-trigger
Barrel-Weatherby Accumark
Caliber - 300 Weatherby or 280 Rem
Scope- Leupold VX-^ 4x24x52
Ammo-Swift Scirocco

What are we hunting? I assume you are talking about deer.

I’d probably go also with Weatherby 300 on my caliber. I’m not an expert on triggers, but I have two Savage rifles and they both have nice feel on the triggers. I also like the mechanical action of the bolt on my Savage rifles. I’d also likely choose a Leopold scope (German heritage compels me).
