I think it depends on the definition of "made"....
Bottom of a 5 gallon bucket - 1127 yds - 300 WBY (but back then I had access to the range regularly, I was starting to get pretty good groups. I haven't had access for long range in quite a few years.)
5 rounds touching on paper - 50 yds - a buddies custom build 10/22
Moving target - full size - 220 +/- a couple yds.
Moving target - small - just a 'hare' over 30 yds. ;)

With what rifle? SR25 1171 meters, M4 800ish meters TA01NSN, M9 77 meters, Glock 19 moving target at 38-40 meters. All this in combat. SAW and M240 all over the place, M2 up a mountain side. Mortors, AT4, Carl Gustav.

I really dont care about humane kills. Dead is dead even if they bleed out.

I like animals, saw a Bear this past weekend and just let him pass because we were speaking each other's language.

I don’t have a good long-range place to shoot, but I put one .17HMR into the red dot of a target from about 400 yards using a Savage rifle with a Simmons scope (maybe 12x45mm). I won’t bore you with how many shots didn’t hit the red dot . :)

1053 yards, hit a similar series of target with 3 guns, a bolt gun in 6.5cm, then an AR 10 in 308, and an AR 10 in 6.5cm

I plan to go further with the 6.5s sometime this year, but I think 1000ish is about the max I can hit with the 308

I have to update. I have now officially shot and hit a 1 mile (1760 yards) target with 6.5 creedmoor
no bullshit, I had to hit a 770 target, then a 1250 target, then the 1760 in that order, hit them all first shot, then nailed the 1760 target 5 times before the wind shifted (wind was fairly calm)

My scope was maxed out 16.5 MILS of travel it had, and I was using 8.5 MILS in the reticle as well (technically needed 24.9 MILS).

As it stands I believe I have roughly hit the limit of my rifle (could potentially use 1 more MIL of drop in the reticle, but that isn't going to take me too much further)

If you're headed to Alberta Canada, check out Edson Fish & Game https://edsonfishandgame.ca/ 1600 meter range (0.966 miles)

Members only AKAIK & NO Day Passes but you can apply for an Associate Membership on line. Annual is less than 150.00 CDN@ so about 100-115.00 US, exchange dependent.

Great people, great facility, 2 hrs W of Edmonton, AB on Hwy 16 (The Yellowhead)

Years ago, me & my 300WM were consistent/good on steel to 1200m but after that I wandered a bit. Shot a friends 338L well out to 1400. So bigger is likely better and the weak link in accuracy is, as usual, the nut on the trigger.

My longest shot on game has never been more than about 275 yds; mostly because I'm a meat hunter and didn't want to chase or lose anything.

Yotes are another matter and I've nailed a few out to 750-800 w/ a couple of different .308 HBs. Used to love to play 'Bad Dog, go to sleep' with them.

Not much call for that anymore.

Been awhile, but 700 yards on a AR I built 5.56 w/20" barrel and scope. 70 yards handgun was the longest on the old PPC course (qualifying) at MLEOTA.

I've shot 780yds a few times and 1000yds once with my Bergara 6.5CM. 780 and 1000yds both make 600 seem easy. All rounds were 140gr ELD under 41.5gr H4350. I have an interest in shooting one of the long range matches at Dead Zero sometime.

Strategic Edge in Chapel Hill, TN. They do family packages, long distance and veteran discounts ($250 per year). The waiting list is about a year. They have a 22 range (steel targets), short range (steel at 100, 200, 300, and 500) long range (steel at 600, 750, 1000, and 1250), clay trap, bow range, and 8 pistol and carbine bays (one being a 360 bay). They also have paper target frames, golfcarts to drive down range to paint steel, target cameras for the long range targets, free target paint and have a super nice clubhouse!
