Winchester Model 12

Any members using or collecting Winchester Model 12

I use a model 12 my uncle gave me for turkey hunting. I killed my first turkey 46 years ago with that gun, and I have carried it ever since. It is getting tough to find 1 1/2 oz. or even harder 1 5/8 oz. 2 3/4 shells for it. I don't shoot the new stuff in it, I only use lead or copper.

I've turned into a Remington man here lately but also like Mossberg but never touched a winchester .

Randal, I also have an 1100 3" from the same uncle, that gun can flat pattern some 3" loads, but has trouble with 2 3/4 loads. I also have several Remington 700's. I am still looking for a Remington 58 Sportsman with a 30" full choke barrel.

Had a cousin growing up that used a Model 12 for quail hunting. It was amazing to watch him hold the trigger down and fire with each pump out.
