Yes, 4x4, 2wd 4runners are like 2wd blazers, useless.
Multi-mode transfer case with T-case diff lock button. This means,, 1 button on selector lever for instant AWD. Limited slip with vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control.
Push diff lock button for off road,, VSC and TSC turn off and all wheels turn at the same rate. 4runners wheel like no other. The 01, and 02 were the pinnacle of the 3rd generation Runners.
Everything works, except power antenna. Short deck installed, Bluetooth mini deck with no disc player. Interior is really nice. 2 tone gray sport cloth. Rear heater. Fold down seats. Rear window works, digital clock works, rear wiper works. Weather tech mats front and rear.
5 new Firestone Destination 3s. New spare rim. Vented slotted brake rotors, runs and drives.
Just paid 500 for obscene level inside and outside detail job. Hence the new pics.
New windshield. 3.4L motor. Automatic trans (no 5spd in 4runner after 99-00) remote trans cooler separate from radiator for towing.
It's The Blueberry. Lic plate BLBERY. Custom dash mat embroidered The Blueberry, with Buddy Christ Dashboard Jesus mounted on. (You Clutch fans know what's up)
The bad: Low compression on 1 (90psi) and 3 (140psi) Took the top end apart and had the injectors rebuilt last summer. Before I checked compression. Dumb, I know. Before intermittent misfires, zero CELs for years.
I have 3 3rd gen 4runners, and if I wasn't looking at huge bills for my wife's broken ankle, I'd just R and R the 3.4 and it'd go another 230k I'm sure.
Make an offer, worst I can say is no. Its not like I'm selling it to buy hookers and blow.
